The U Series Restaurant Range is a gas range that measures 60" in width. It features four open burners with a BTU rating of 32,000 each. The range also includes a 36" x 23" smooth steel griddle plate that is 5/8" thick. The griddle plate is controlled manually.
The range has two storage bases for added convenience. It is made with stainless steel on the front, sides, plate rail, and 2-piece back guard and shelf. The range stands on 6" stainless steel legs with adjustable feet.
The total BTU rating for the range is 182,000. It is certified by CSA Flame, CSA Star, cCSAus, and NSF.
Standard features of the range include a gas regulator, large easy-to-use control knobs, and a large work top surface. It also has stamped drip trays with a dimpled bottom for easy cleaning. The range comes with a stainless steel backguard and a removable stainless steel shelf.
Additional standard features include an open storage base instead of an oven, a wide grease trough, a keep-cool oven door handle, and ergonomic split cast iron top ring grates. The range also has a cast iron "H" style oven burner with a BTU rating of 38,000. The oven has a snap action modulating thermostat that can be set low to 500°F.
The range comes with a nickel plated oven rack and a 3-position removable oven rack guide. It also has a powerful 32,000 BTU cast iron open top burner and an 18,000 BTU cast iron "H" style griddle burner for every 12" width of the griddle. The griddle plate is 5/8" thick and has a manual hi/lo valve control.
The oven is large and has a porcelain ribbed bottom and door. The top, sides, and back of the oven are made with aluminized steel. The oven can fit standard sheet pans in both directions.
Optional features for the range include additional oven racks, flanged deck mount legs, piezo spark ignition for griddle pilots, and a 240V convection oven motor. The range can also be equipped with a snap action modulating griddle control and 6" leveling swivel casters.
