The U Series Restaurant Range is a gas range with a width of 60 inches. It features six open burners, each with a power of 32,000 BTU, and cast iron top and ring grates. The range also includes a 24-inch raised griddle/broiler on the right side and one storage base. 

The front and sides of the range are made of stainless steel, and it also has a stainless steel plate rail, a two-piece back guard and shelf, and 6-inch stainless steel legs with adjustable feet. The range has a total power of 225,000 BTU and is certified by CSA Flame, CSA Star, cCSAus, and NSF.

Standard features of the range include a gas regulator, large easy-to-use control knobs, an open storage base instead of an oven, and a 4-1/4-inch wide grease trough. It also has a strong oven door handle, a stainless steel 5-inch plate rail, and a large 27-inch work top surface. The range has ergonomic split cast iron top ring grates and a cast iron "H" style oven burner with a power of 38,000 BTU.

Other features include a snap action modulating oven thermostat that can be set low to 500°F, stamped drip trays with a dimpled bottom, and two broiler rack settings. The range also has a stainless steel backguard with a removable stainless steel shelf, a nickel plated oven rack, and a 3-position removable oven rack guide.

The range includes a powerful 32,000 BTU cast iron open top burner and a 5/8-inch thick steel griddle plate with manual hi/lo valve control. The raised griddle/broiler section has three cast iron burners, each rated at 11,000 BTU, with one manual hi/lo valve per burner.

The oven of the range has a porcelain ribbed bottom and door, and the top, sides, and back are made of aluminized steel. The oven can fit standard sheet pans in both directions. There is also an option to have a convection oven instead of a standard oven, which includes three nickel plated oven racks and removable rack guides.
