The U Series Restaurant Range is a gas range with a 36" width. It features four 32,000 BTU open burners and a 12" griddle with a 5/8" thick smooth steel plate. The range also includes a storage base and is made with stainless steel front, sides, plate rail, and a 2-piece back guard and shelf. It has 6" stainless steel legs with adjustable feet.
The range has a total BTU output of 146,000 and is certified by CSA Flame, CSA Star, cCSAus, and NSF. It comes with a gas regulator and large easy-to-use control knobs. The work top surface is 27" wide and there are 12" section stamped drip trays with a dimpled bottom.
Standard features on applicable models include a 4-1/4" wide grease trough, a keep-cool oven door handle, ergonomic split cast iron top ring grates, and a stainless steel backguard with a removable stainless steel shelf.
The range also includes a powerful 38,000 BTU cast iron "H" style oven burner, a snap action modulating oven thermostat, and a nickel plated oven rack with a 3-position removable oven rack guide. The open top burners are 32,000 BTU each and the griddle burner is 18,000 BTU per 12" width of the griddle. The griddle plate is 5/8" thick steel with manual hi/lo valve control.
The oven has a large porcelain ribbed bottom and door, with aluminized steel top, sides, and back. It can fit standard sheet pans in both directions. There is also an option for a convection oven with 3 nickel plated oven racks and removable rack guides.
Optional features include additional oven racks, flanged deck mount legs, Celsius temperature dials, piezo spark ignition for griddle pilots, a 240V convection oven motor, a snap action modulating griddle control, 6" leveling swivel casters, a low profile backguard, and a hot top plate in lieu of two open burners.
