The U Series Restaurant Range is a gas range with a 36" griddle and a 5/8" thick smooth steel plate. It features a storage base and a stainless steel front, sides, plate rail, 2-piece back guard, and shelf. The range also has 6" stainless steel legs with adjustable feet. It has a 54,000 BTU output and is CSA Flame, CSA Star, cCSAus, and NSF certified.
The range comes with a gas regulator and large easy-to-use control knobs. It has a 5" plate rail and a large 27" work top surface. The range also includes 12" section stamped drip trays with a dimpled bottom. It has a stainless steel backguard with a removable stainless steel shelf.
Standard features on applicable models include a 4-1/4" wide grease trough, a strong keep-cool oven door handle, and ergonomic split cast iron top ring grates. The range also has an open storage base option instead of an oven. The oven burner is a 38,000 Btuh cast iron "H" style burner with a snap action modulating oven thermostat that can go as low as 500° F. The oven comes with a nickel plated oven rack and a 3-position removable oven rack guide.
The range also has a powerful 32,000 Btuh 2 piece cast iron geometric open top burner and an 18,000 Btuh cast iron "H" style griddle burner per 12" width of the griddle. The griddle plate is 5/8" thick steel with a manual hi/lo valve control and a 23" working depth surface. The range has a large porcelain ribbed oven bottom and door, with aluminized steel top, sides, and back. The oven can fit standard sheet pans in both directions.
There is an optional convection oven available with 3 nickel plated oven racks and removable rack guides. Additional optional features include extra oven racks, flanged deck mount legs, Celsius temperature dials, piezo spark ignition for griddle pilots, a 240v convection oven motor, a snap action modulating griddle control, 6" leveling swivel casters, a low profile 9-3/8" backguard, and a hot top plate in lieu of open burners.
