The GF Starfire Pro Series Restaurant Range is a gas range that is 36" in size and modular in design. It features two 26,000 BTU open burners and one 24" griddle with a 5/8" thick smooth steel plate. The burners have manual hi/lo valve control and flame failure protection. The range is made of stainless steel and has a front, sides, plate rail, and 10" low profile back guard. It also has 4" stainless steel legs with adjustable feet. The range has a total BTU of 88,000 and is certified by CSA Flame, CSA Star, cCSAus, CE, and NSF.
Some of the standard features of the range include a gas regulator, large easy-to-use control knobs, 6" adjustable stainless steel legs, a stainless steel 5" plate rail, a large 27" work top surface, a stainless steel low profile back guard, and 12" section stamped drip trays with a dimpled bottom. The range also has spark ignition on all concealed burners, except for the open top burners which have manual ignition.
The range also has several standard features that are applicable to certain models. These include a 4-1/4" wide grease trough, a strong keep-cool oven door handle, ergonomic split cast iron top ring grates, a cast iron "H" style oven burner with a BTU rating of 38,000, a snap action modulating oven thermostat with a temperature range up to 500° F, a nickel plated oven rack and removable oven rack guide, and a large porcelain oven interior that can fit standard sheet pans in both directions.
Optional features for the range include additional oven racks, flanged deck mount legs, Celsius temperature dials, a stainless steel backguard with a removable stainless shelf, 6" leveling swivel casters with front locking, a snap action modulating griddle control with a temperature range of 175 to 475 F, range mount salamanders for the oven base models, stainless steel stands with or without non-leveling casters, and a hot top 12" plate in lieu of two open burners.
