The U Series Restaurant Range is a gas range with a 36" width. It features two 32,000 BTU open burners and a 24" griddle with a 5/8" thick smooth steel plate. The range also includes a standard oven with one oven rack and three position rack guides. The front and sides of the range are made of stainless steel, and it has a stainless steel plate rail, 2-piece back guard, and shelf. The range stands on 6" stainless steel legs with adjustable feet. The range has a total BTU rating of 138,000 and is certified by CSA Flame, CSA Star, cCSAus, and NSF. It comes with standard features such as a gas regulator, large easy-to-use control knobs, and a large work top surface. Additional standard features include a stainless steel backguard with a removable stainless steel shelf, a 4-1/4" wide grease trough, a keep-cool oven door handle, and ergonomic split cast iron top ring grates. Optional features for the range include additional oven racks, flanged deck mount legs, Celsius temperature dials, piezo spark ignition for griddle pilots, and a convection oven motor. The range is designed for commercial use and is not approved for residential use. It is available with a convection oven or a storage base in lieu of the standard oven. Installation clearance reductions are applicable only where local codes permit, and ranges supplied with casters must be installed with an approved restraining device.
