The SteamChef™ 6 Convection Steamer is a gas-powered, boilerless countertop steamer with 1 compartment. It has a capacity for 6 full-size pans and features a 60-minute electro-mechanical timer with a manual bypass switch for continuous steaming. The door is left-hand hinged, with controls on the right. The steamer has automatic drain and water level controls, as well as a KleanShield™ interior for easy cleaning. The exterior is made of stainless steel and it has 4" adjustable legs with flanged feet. It operates at 32,000 BTU and is UL and ENERGY STAR® certified. Standard features include front access burners for easy servicing, steam and fan shut off control when the compartment door is opened, heavy-duty adjustable legs, and a high-efficiency atmospheric gas heating system. The door is hinged on the left, with controls on the right. It can accommodate up to six 12" x 20" x 2.5" deep steam table pans. It also includes a 60-minute timer, LED indicator lights, and a timed and manual bypass switch for constant steaming. The steamer has a 1.0 gallon water reservoir located at the bottom of the cooking compartment for easy access and maintenance. The compartment door is made of durable 14 gauge stainless steel and has a latch that withstands heavy wear. It also has an automatic drain control and a KleanShieldTM cooking compartment design that collects and removes condensate waste. The steamer has automatic water level controls and a high temperature safety shut-off. Optional accessories include an electronic timer, a single point water connection, a stainless steel equipment stand, and a water connection kit.
