Storing and managing frozen goods in large quantities can be quite challenging. However, the NorLake KLF68-C 6' x 8' x 6'-7" H Kold Locker walk-in freezer is designed to handle this task effectively. With a capacity of 231 cu. ft., this commercial freezer provides ample space to keep your products cool. The walk-in unit is constructed using 4" thick panels. These panels are made of 26 gauge steel with a corrosion-resistant embossed stucco coating on both sides. To achieve an R-value of 32, the panels are insulated with foamed-in-place polyurethane. The panels are designed with male and female rails for easy alignment and are secured together with foamed-in-place cam locking fasteners to ensure an airtight seal. The panel gaskets on the corner panels are continuous without any cuts or breaks. The floor panels have a smooth aluminum surface that can support uniform loads of up to 800 lbs. per square foot. The floor and ceiling panels are secured with foamed-in-place edge caps for long-lasting durability. The standard door of this walk-in unit is 26" wide and features a stepped profile to prevent airflow. For easier access to dollies and larger items, a 30" wide door kit is available at no extra cost, along with a stainless steel kick panel for added strength. The door can be installed to open from the right or left and comes with two cam-lift hinges that are field-adjustable to compensate for settling over time. A spring-loaded door closer ensures that the door is not left open accidentally. The 4-foot wide door panel is pre-hung and includes various features such as a vapor-proof LED lighting fixture, a digital thermometer, a replaceable heating wire, and stainless steel trim. To ensure security, the door is equipped with an NL 9800 deadbolt handle with an independent key/padlock feature. Inside the walk-in, there is a safety release to prevent lock-ins. The walk-in freezer maintains a temperature of -10°F with the help of the top-mounted RCPF100JC-S-4-EV Capsule Pak Refrigeration System, which provides 3444 BTU/hr of cooling. The temperature inside the unit can be easily set using the Enviro-Control system, which also allows for setting the defrost timer and activating a manual defrost cycle.
