The NorLake KLF610-C Kold Locker is a reliable walk-in freezer that is easy to install and built to last. With a capacity of 295 cu. ft., this commercial freezer is perfect for storing large quantities of frozen goods. The Kold Locker is constructed with 4" thick panels made of 26 gauge steel on both the interior and exterior sides. These panels are coated with an embossed stucco finish, providing excellent corrosion resistance. The panels are also insulated with foamed-in-place polyurethane, which has an impressive R-value of 32. Assembling the Kold Locker is a breeze, thanks to the male and female mating rails on each panel. These rails ensure easy alignment, while the foamed-in-place cam locking fasteners securely lock the panels together, creating an airtight seal. The corners of the freezer feature continuous panel gaskets, providing additional insulation without any breaks or cuts. The ceiling and floor panels are equipped with foamed-in-place edge caps, which are more secure than overlapping or mechanically fastened caps. The Kold Locker's door is designed to prevent the passage of air when closed. It has a stepped profile, creating a mechanical barrier that helps maintain the internal temperature efficiently. The door can be hinged on either the right or left side and includes field-adjustable cam-lifts with a locking set screw. A spring-actuated door closer ensures that the door is always closed tightly, minimizing cooling costs. The door panel is 4' wide and comes pre-hung from the factory. It also includes a replaceable perimeter heating wire, a vapor-proof LED lighting fixture with an exterior indicator light, a digital thermometer, and magnetic stainless steel trim. The interior of the freezer is secured with an NL 9800 deadbolt handle, which has an independent key/padlock feature. For added safety, there is a safety release inside the freezer to prevent anyone from getting locked inside. The Kold Locker is equipped with a ceiling-mounted RCPF100JC-S-4-EV Capsule Pak Refrigeration System, which provides 3444 BTU/hr of cooling. This system allows the freezer to reach a temperature of -10°F. The Enviro-Control system is included to efficiently maintain the desired temperature and allows for setting the defrost timer.
