The U Series Restaurant Range is a gas range with a width of 60 inches. It features eight open burners, each with a power of 32,000 BTU. The range also includes a smooth steel griddle plate that measures 12 inches by 23 inches and is 5/8 inch thick. The griddle plate is controlled manually.

The range comes with one standard oven that has three position rack guides and an oven rack. It also has a storage base for additional convenience. The front, sides, plate rail, and two-piece back guard and shelf are all made of stainless steel. The range stands on 6-inch stainless steel legs with adjustable feet.

In terms of safety and certifications, the range is CSA Flame, CSA Star, cCSAus, and NSF certified. It has a total BTU output of 312,000.

The range comes with several standard features, including a gas regulator, stainless steel front and sides, large easy-to-use control knobs, and a 5-inch plate rail. It also has a large work top surface measuring 27 inches and stamped drip trays with a dimpled bottom. The range includes a stainless steel backguard with a removable stainless steel shelf.

Additional standard features include an open storage base instead of an oven, a 4-1/4-inch wide grease trough, a keep-cool oven door handle, and ergonomic split cast iron top ring grates. The range also has a cast iron "H" style oven burner with a power of 38,000 BTU and a snap action modulating oven thermostat that can be set as low as 500°F. The oven comes with a nickel-plated oven rack and a 3-position removable oven rack guide.

The range also features a powerful 32,000 BTU 2-piece cast iron open top burner and an 18,000 BTU cast iron "H" style griddle burner for every 12 inches of griddle width. The griddle plate is made of 5/8-inch thick steel and has a manual hi/lo valve control. The working depth surface of the griddle is 23 inches and it is standard on the right side, but optional on the left.

The oven is large and has a porcelain ribbed bottom and door. The top, sides, and back of the oven are made of aluminized steel. The oven can fit standard sheet pans in both directions.
