The U Series Restaurant Range is a gas range with a width of 60 inches. It features eight open burners, each with a BTU rating of 32,000. The range also includes a 12" x 23" smooth steel griddle plate that is 5/8" thick. The griddle plate is controlled manually.

The range comes with two standard ovens, each with three position rack guides and an oven rack. The front and sides of the range are made of stainless steel, as well as the plate rail, 2-piece back guard, and shelf. The range stands on 6" stainless steel legs with adjustable feet.

The total BTU rating of the range is 350,000. It is certified by CSA Flame, CSA Star, cCSAus, and NSF. The range also includes a gas regulator and large easy-to-use control knobs. It has a large work top surface of 27" and stamped drip trays with dimpled bottoms.

Additional features include a stainless steel backguard with a removable stainless steel shelf, an open storage base in lieu of an oven, a 4-1/4" wide grease trough, and a strong, keep-cool oven door handle. The range also has ergonomic split cast iron top ring grates and a cast iron "H" style oven burner with a BTU rating of 38,000.

The oven is controlled by a snap action modulating oven thermostat that can be set low to 500° F. It comes with a nickel plated oven rack and a 3-position removable oven rack guide. The range also includes a powerful 32,000 BTU cast iron open top burner and an 18,000 BTU cast iron "H" style griddle burner for each 12" width of the griddle.

The griddle plate is made of 5/8" thick steel and has a manual hi/lo valve control. It has a working depth surface of 23" and is standard on the right side of the range, but can be optional on the left side.

The oven has a large capacity and features a porcelain ribbed bottom and door. The top, sides, and back of the oven are made of aluminized steel. The oven can fit standard sheet pans in both directions.
