The U Series Restaurant Range is a gas range with a 36" width. It features two 32,000 BTU open burners and a 24" griddle with a 5/8" thick smooth steel plate. The range also includes a storage base and is made with stainless steel front, sides, plate rail, and a 2-piece back guard and shelf. It has 6" stainless steel legs with adjustable feet.
The range has a total BTU rating of 100,000 and is certified by CSA Flame, CSA Star, cCSAus, and NSF. It comes with a gas regulator and large easy-to-use control knobs. The range also has a large 27" work top surface and 12" section stamped drip trays with a dimpled bottom.
Standard features on applicable models include a 4-1/4" wide grease trough, a keep-cool oven door handle, ergonomic split cast iron top ring grates, and a stainless steel backguard with a removable stainless steel shelf. The range also has a powerful 38,000 BTU cast iron "H" style oven burner and a snap action modulating oven thermostat that can reach temperatures up to 500° F.
The range includes a nickel plated oven rack and a 3-position removable oven rack guide. It also has a 32,000 BTU 2-piece cast iron geometric open top burner and an 18,000 BTU cast iron "H" style griddle burner per 12" width of the griddle. The griddle plate is 5/8" thick and has a manual hi/lo valve control. The oven has a large porcelain ribbed bottom and door, with aluminized steel top, sides, and back. It can fit standard sheet pans in both directions.
Optional features for the range include additional oven racks, flanged deck mount legs, Celsius temperature dials, piezo spark ignition for griddle pilots, a 240V convection oven motor, a snap action modulating griddle control, 6" leveling swivel casters, a low profile 9-3/8" backguard, and a hot top plate in lieu of two open burners.
The range is 35 7/16" wide and has a 27" deep work top surface. It is made with stainless steel front, sides, and a 5" wide front rail. The range has 6" legs with adjustable feet.
