The GFE Starfire Pro Series Restaurant Range is a gas range with a 60" width. It features six 26,000 BTU open burners with cast iron top and ring grates. The burners have electric pilot ignition. The range also includes a 24" raised griddle/broiler on the right side, with manual hi/lo valve control.
The range has two standard ovens with 3 position rack guides and oven racks. The front, sides, plate rail, and 10" low profile back guard are made of stainless steel. The range stands on 6" stainless steel legs with adjustable feet. It has a total BTU rating of 265,000 and is certified by CSA Flame, CSA Star, cCSAus, CE, and NSF.
Some of the standard features of the range include a cabinet base instead of an oven, large easy-to-use control knobs, a 4-1/4" wide grease trough, a stainless steel 5" plate rail, and a large 27" work top surface. The range also has flame failure protection for all burners, a strong keep-cool oven door handle, and an ergonomic split cast iron top ring grates.
Other features include a gas regulator with a 1" NPT rear gas connection, a cast iron "H" style oven burner with a BTU rating of 38,000, and a snap action modulating oven thermostat with a range up to 500°F. The range also has stamped drip trays, two broiler rack settings, and a nickel plated oven rack with a 3-position removable oven rack guide.
The range includes a 5/8" thick steel griddle plate with a working depth surface of 23". It has spark ignition on all concealed burners, while the open top burners require manual ignition. The range has a large porcelain oven interior that can fit standardize sheet pans in both directions.
There are optional features available for the range, such as additional oven racks, flanged deck mount legs, Celsius temperature dials, and a convection oven motor. Other options include stainless steel back panels for backguards or range, a stainless steel backguard with a removable stainless shelf, and 6" leveling swivel casters with front locking.
