Electric kettle/mixer with a sweep/fold agitator and a 60-gallon capacity. It features a 2/3 steam jacket design, tilt-type mechanism, and variable speed control. The kettle also includes a hot and cold faucet, a 2" tangent draw-off valve, and an open leg base. It is constructed with stainless steel for durability.
The standard features of this kettle/mixer include a large pouring lip, no water gauge required, mixer stop when the bridge is lifted, and a solid state low water safety control. It also has a safety device to prevent high-speed starts, level adjustable feet, and gallon markings stamped into the scraper shaft. The kettle has a 50 psi safety valve and steam jacket rating.
The exterior surfaces of the kettle and all its components are made of stainless steel. It has typical approvals such as UL, CSA, CE, NSF, and ASME. The kettle also includes a 2" diameter tangent draw-off valve with a drain strainer. The scraper speed control is infinitely variable from 0-40 rpm. The agitator and scraper are bayonet mounted for easy removal.
The kettle operates on standard 208-240 volts, 60 Hz, 3 phase, 4 wire, high wattage. It has a solid state temperature control for precise simmering. The kettle also features a rear-mounted pressure/vacuum gauge and pressure relief valve. The agitator, scraper, and bridge lift are powered by a 3 horsepower hydraulic system.
The kettle comes with removable nylon blades that scrape the entire jacketed surface. It has an enclosed, 10 gauge stainless steel hydraulically operated mixer bridge. All plumbing, electrical, and hydraulics are enclosed in stainless steel consoles. The steam jacket is filled with treated water, eliminating the need for venting or refilling.
The tilt mechanism of the kettle is made with roller bearings and a case-hardened self-locking worm and segment gear. It offers an infinitely variable ratio between the scraper and agitator, with the agitator rotating from 0-8 times the speed of the scraper.
Optional accessories for the kettle include covers, power tilt, leg extensions, pan carrier, flow diverter, food strainer, swing funnels, alternate mounting systems, different voltages, product time/temperature controls and indicators, and a water meter.
