The Spec-Line Roll-In Commercial Blast Chiller with EPICON Control is a high-quality commercial refrigerator designed to chill large quantities of food quickly and efficiently. It features a self-contained holding refrigeration system and can hold two 72" high racks. The front door is hinged on the right and comes with two printers. The chiller is cULus and NSF certified.
Some of the standard features of this blast chiller include an on-board cycle data printer, Epicon touch screen control, three-year parts and labor warranty, self-closing and stay-open door feature, stainless steel door with cylinder lock, magnetic snap-in EZ-clean door gaskets, and stainless steel exterior and interior construction. The Exclusive Epicon Control allows for easy operation and offers various settings for different chilling needs. It has a display temperature in both Fahrenheit and Celsius, a 90-day cycle data memory, adjustable target temperatures and times, advanced data management and defrost capabilities, and two easy ways to operate - AUTO and MANUAL.
The blast chiller also offers options and accessories such as right or left-hand door hinging, a correctional facility package, a stainless steel finished back, a roll-in rack for holding pans, a floor-mounted condensate evaporator, an on-board label printer, a water-cooled self-contained condenser suitable for connection to glycol, and a combi oven compatibility collar.
The refrigeration system of this blast chiller includes dual high-capacity systems using R-404A refrigerant, an advanced air circulation system, a self-contained maintenance system, thermostatic expansion valve metering device, large high-humidity evaporator coil, high-speed evaporator fan, air-cooled hermetic compressor, and a hot gas defrost. It requires a separate remote condensing unit for blast chill operation.
The interior arrangements of the blast chiller can accommodate one or two 72" high roll-in racks, depending on the model. The racks are not included but can be purchased separately.
The blast chiller operates in standard blast chill mode, with air circulating in the food zone cycling between 10-14°F to promote rapid chilling without freezing. Target temperatures can be adjusted between 40 and -5°F. The control system monitors cycle operation and records all data required for HACCP compliance. It has an easy-to-use touch screen and offers both auto and manual modes of operation.
The unit comes with a three-year parts
