The Spec-Line Roll-Thru Commercial Blast Chiller with EPICON Control is a high-quality commercial refrigerator designed to chill large quantities of food quickly and efficiently. It features a self-contained holding refrigeration system and can hold one 72" high rack. The front and rear doors are hinged on the left side and come with Corrections Features. This blast chiller is cULus and NSF certified.
Some of the standard features of this blast chiller include an on-board cycle data printer, Epicon touch screen control, three-year parts and labor warranty, self-closing and stay-open door feature, stainless steel door with cylinder lock, magnetic snap-in EZ-clean door gaskets, and stainless steel exterior and interior construction. It also comes with a two-year additional compressor parts warranty.
The Exclusive Epicon Control offers various features such as displaying temperature in Fahrenheit or Celsius, 90-day cycle data memory, adjustable target temperatures and times, advanced data management and defrost, and two easy ways to operate - AUTO and MANUAL. The AUTO mode allows for hands-free cycle start, while the MANUAL mode allows for chill by time-temp-recipe.
The blast chiller offers four chilling settings - SPEED to reduce chill time by 10%, ENERGY to save approximately 10% energy, STANDARD for basic chill operation, and DELICATE for refreshing ready-to-eat foods.
There are also various options and accessories available for this blast chiller, including right or left-hand door hinging, a correctional facility package, stainless steel finished back (for roll-in models), roll-in rack for holding pans, floor-mounted condensate evaporator, on-board label printer, water-cooled self-contained condenser suitable for connection to glycol, and a combi oven compatibility collar.
The refrigeration system of this blast chiller consists of dual high-capacity systems using R-404A refrigerant, an advanced air circulation system, self-contained maintenance system, thermostatic expansion valve metering device, large high humidity evaporator coil, high-speed evaporator fan, air-cooled hermetic compressor, and a hot gas defrost. Each model requires a separate 4 HP remote condensing unit for blast chill operation.
The interior arrangements of the blast chiller can accommodate one or two 72" high roll-in racks, depending on the model. The racks are not supplied standard but can be purchased separately.
