The Spec-Line Roll-In Commercial Blast Chiller with EPICON Control is a high-quality commercial refrigerator designed to quickly chill and freeze large quantities of food. It features a self-contained holding refrigeration system and can hold two 72" high racks. The front and rear doors are hinged on the right side. This blast chiller is cULus and NSF certified.
Some of the standard features of this blast chiller include an on-board cycle data printer, Epicon touch screen control, three-year parts and labor warranty, self-closing and stay-open door feature, stainless steel door with cylinder lock, and magnetic snap-in EZ-clean door gaskets. The exterior and interior are constructed of stainless steel, ensuring durability and easy cleaning. The blast chiller also comes with a two-year additional compressor parts warranty.
The Exclusive Epicon Control offers advanced features such as displaying temperature in Fahrenheit or Celsius, a 90-day cycle data memory, adjustable target temperatures and times, and advanced data management and defrost options. It can be operated in two ways: AUTO mode for hands-free cycle start and MANUAL mode for precise chilling by time, temperature, and recipe. There are four chilling settings available: SPEED to reduce chill time, ENERGY to save energy, STANDARD for basic chill operation, and DELICATE for refreshing ready-to-eat foods.
There are various options and accessories available for customization, including right or left-hand door hinging, a correctional facility package, a stainless steel finished back, a roll-in rack for holding pans, a floor-mounted condensate evaporator, an on-board label printer, and a water-cooled self-contained condenser suitable for connection to glycol. There is also a Combi Oven Compatibility Collar available for accommodating oven racks.
The refrigeration system of this blast chiller consists of dual high-capacity systems using R-404A refrigerant. It features an advanced air circulation system, a self-contained maintenance system, a thermostatic expansion valve metering device, a high-humidity evaporator coil, a high-speed evaporator fan, an air-cooled hermetic compressor, and a hot gas defrost. Each model requires a separate remote condensing unit for blast chill operation.
The interior arrangements of the blast chiller can accommodate one or two 72" high roll-in racks, depending on the model. The racks are not included but can be purchased separately.
