The Spec-Line Roll-Thru Commercial Blast Chiller with EPICON Control is a high-quality commercial refrigerator designed to chill large quantities of food quickly and efficiently. It features a self-contained holding refrigeration system and can hold one 72" high rack. The front door is hinged on the left and the rear door is hinged on the right. It is cULus and NSF certified.

The blast chiller also offers four chilling settings - SPEED, ENERGY, STANDARD, and DELICATE, allowing for different chilling needs. The refrigeration system of this blast chiller includes dual high-capacity refrigeration systems using R-404A refrigerant, an advanced air circulation system, a self-contained maintenance system, a thermostatic expansion valve metering device, a large high humidity evaporator coil, a high-speed evaporator fan, an air-cooled hermetic compressor, and a hot gas defrost. Each model requires a separate remote condensing unit for blast chill operation.
The interior arrangements of the blast chiller can accommodate one or two 72" high roll-in racks, depending on the model. The blast chill operation allows for rapid product chilling without freezing, with target temperatures adjustable between 40 and -5 degrees Fahrenheit. The control system is easy to use, with a touch-screen epicon control that is water-resistant and protected by a stainless steel bezel. It also features an auto mode and a manual mode for different chilling needs.
