The NorLake KLF56-C Kold Locker is a reliable indoor walk-in freezer that provides safe storage for frozen goods. With a spacious interior offering 137 cu. ft. of refrigerated space, this freezer is built to last for many years. The panels of the Kold Locker are 4" thick and insulated with foamed-in-place polyurethane that meets EPA standards. The interior and exterior sides of the panels are made of 26 gauge steel with a corrosion-resistant embossed stucco finish. The panels are designed for easy installation with male and female rails for proper alignment. Foamed-in-place cam locking fasteners ensure an airtight seal between each panel. The continuous panel gasket around the perimeter is free from breaks or cuts at the corners. The edge caps on the ceiling and floor panels are also foamed-in-place to prevent them from coming loose. The standard door on the Kold Locker is 26" wide and features a stepped profile to block airflow. The door comes with two cam-lift hinges that can be installed on either the right or left side. These hinges are adjustable to ensure a proper seal and smooth operation. A spring-assisted door closer is included to prevent the door from being left open. Each door panel is 4' wide and comes with a replaceable perimeter heating wire, a vapor proof LED lighting fixture, and a digital thermometer. The NL 9800 deadbolt handle with an independent key/padlock feature provides security for the products inside. A safety release is also included to prevent workers from getting locked inside. The Kold Locker can maintain an interior temperature as low as -10°F. The refrigeration system, RCPF075JC-S-4-EV Capsule Pak, is located on the roof and provides 2637 BTU/hr of cooling. The system is controlled by the Enviro-Control electronic controller, which allows precise temperature settings, defrost timer control, and manual defrosting. A condensate vaporizer is included to eliminate the need for a drain line. The Kold Locker is available in various sizes, with options for cooler or freezer models, indoor or outdoor installation, and different heights. It is DOE compliant and USDA accepted.
