The NorLake KLF812-C Kold Locker is a reliable walk-in freezer that is easy to install and built to last. With a capacity of 490 cu. ft., it provides ample refrigerated space for commercial use. The panels, both interior and exterior, are made of 26 gauge steel with a corrosion-resistant embossed stucco coating. These 4" thick panels are filled with foamed-in-place insulation, providing an impressive R-value of 32. Assembling the Kold Locker is a breeze, thanks to the tight-fitting male and female rails on each panel, secured with foamed-in-place cam locking fasteners. The continuous panel gasket ensures an airtight seal, while the foamed-in-place edge caps on the ceiling and floor panels prevent them from coming loose.
The standard door on the KLF812-C is 26" wide and features a stepped profile to minimize airflow. It can be hinged on either the right or left side and comes with field-adjustable cam-lifts and a locking set screw. The door is equipped with a spring-actuated closer to ensure it is always closed tightly, reducing cooling costs. Each door panel includes a replaceable perimeter heating wire, a vapor-proof LED lighting fixture with an exterior indicator light, a magnetic stainless steel trim, and a digital thermometer. The NL 9800 deadbolt handle with an independent key/padlock feature keeps the contents secure, while a safety release prevents anyone from getting locked inside.
The KLF812-C is powered by the RCPF150JC-S-4-EV Capsule Pak Refrigeration System, which provides 6120 BTU/hr of cooling to maintain a temperature of -10°F inside the unit. The Enviro-Control system allows for easy temperature and defrost timer settings, and an automatic condensate vaporizer eliminates the need for drain lines and floor drains.
The Kold Locker is available in various sizes, from 4' x 6' to 10' x 14', and can be used as a cooler or freezer. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, with outdoor models featuring a white membrane roof and trim, a refrigeration hood, and -20°F ambient controls. The KLF812-C comes with a 15-year panel warranty, 18 months parts and labor warranty, and is DOE compliant and USDA accepted.
