The NorLake KODF7788-C Kold Locker is a reliable outdoor walk-in freezer that can withstand various weather conditions. It offers 372 cu. ft. of refrigerated space. The walls of this commercial walk-in freezer have an R-value of 32, with each panel being 4" thick and made of 26 gauge steel protected by a corrosion-resistant embossed stucco coating. The majority of the panel is filled with foamed-in-place insulation. The panels are held together by foamed-in-place cam locking fasteners and a continuous panel gasket. The floor is made of similar panels with a smooth aluminum surface and can hold up to 800 pounds per square foot. Both the floor and ceiling panels have foamed-in-place edge caps for added security. The Kold Locker walk-in unit comes with a 26" wide door that has a stepped profile to decrease airflow and improve energy efficiency. The door can be hinged to the right or left depending on installation needs. It features cam-lift hinges that are adjustable for smooth opening and closing. The door also has a spring-loaded closer, a magnetic stainless steel trim, a digital thermometer, a replaceable perimeter heating wire, and a vapor-proof LED lighting fixture controlled by a switch. It includes an NL 9800 deadbolt locking handle for added security and a safety release to prevent anyone from getting trapped inside. To maintain a temperature as low as -10°F, this unit is equipped with the RCPF150JC-E-4-EV Capsule Pak Refrigeration System. It is a top-mounted unit that provides 5692 BTU/hr of cooling. The refrigeration system is controlled by the Enviro-Control electronic control system, which sets the temperature and defrost timer. The unit also comes with a white 35 mill membrane roof material for protection against precipitation. The roof membrane is held in place with metal trim and self-tapping, self-drilling TEK screws.
