The panels of this walk-in cooler are made from 26 gauge steel and feature an embossed stucco coating on all surfaces. Each panel is 4" thick with foamed-in-place insulation. Assembling the Kold Locker walk-in units is easy, as each panel has male and female mating rails for easy alignment, and foamed-in-place cam locking fasteners ensure an airtight seal. The corners of the unit feature panel gaskets that go around the exterior perimeter continuously, without any breaks or cuts. The ceiling panels have foamed-in-place edge caps to keep them securely in place throughout the life of the unit. The standard 26" wide door of the Kold Locker has a stepped profile that acts as a barrier to airflow, resulting in an energy-efficient door system. For wider loads, the door can be upgraded to a 30" wide one, complete with a stainless steel kick plate. The door comes with two cam-lift and adjustable hinges, allowing for easy adjustments over the lifetime of the walk-in. It also features a spring-assisted door closer to ensure it is never left ajar. The 4-foot wide door panel comes pre-hung and includes a vapor-proof LED lighting fixture, activated by a switch connected to an external indicator light. The door also includes a replaceable heating wire, stainless steel trim, and a digital thermometer.
