The NorLake KLB7766-C 6' x 6' x 7'-7" H Kold Locker is an efficient solution for managing and storing refrigerated goods in bulk. This walk-in cooler features a top-mounted compressor and offers a total of 196 cu. ft. of refrigerated space. To ensure superior insulation, each panel is 4" thick and contains foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation that is EPA-compliant. The panels are made of 26 gauge steel with a corrosion-resistant embossed stucco finish on both the interior and exterior sides. Assembling the Kold Locker walk-in units is easy, thanks to the male and female mating rails on each panel that make alignment simple. The foamed-in-place cam locking fasteners lock the panels together, creating an airtight seal. The corners of the unit feature panel gaskets that go around the exterior perimeter continuously, without any breaks or cuts. The ceiling and floor panels have foamed-in-place edge caps that keep them securely in place throughout the life of the unit. The standard 26" wide door of the Kold Locker has a stepped profile that acts as a barrier to airflow, resulting in an energy-efficient door system. The door comes with two cam-lift hinges that can be installed on either the right or left side. These hinges are field-adjustable to ensure the door swings freely while maintaining an airtight seal. A spring-assisted door closer is included to prevent the door from being left ajar. The door is pre-hung in a 4-foot wide panel and features a magnetic stainless steel trim, a digital thermometer, a replaceable perimeter heating wire, and a vapor-proof LED light fixture that is activated by a switch with an external indicator light. To keep the contents of the walk-in secure, an NL 9800 deadbolt handle with an independent key/padlock feature is provided. Additionally, a safety release inside the door panel ensures that no one gets locked inside, prioritizing worker safety. To efficiently maintain temperatures between 35°F and 38°F, this walk-in unit is equipped with a ceiling-mounted RCPB050JC-S-0-EV Capsule Pak Refrigeration system that produces 4060 BTU/hr of cooling.
