The C5™ 3 Series Heated Holding Cabinet is a mobile, half-height cabinet with red Insulation Armour™. It has a clear polycarbonate door and a removable bottom mount control module. The thermostat can be set to a maximum temperature of 200°F. The cabinet has universal wire slides on 3" centers, adjustable on 1-1/2" increments, and can hold either (8) 18" x 26" pans or (16) 12" x 20" x 2-1/2" pans. It is equipped with 5" casters, two of which have brakes. The cabinet is made of aluminum and operates on 120v/60/1-ph with 2000 watts and 16.7 amps. It is cULus and NSF certified.
The cabinet has three slide styles to provide maximum holding capacity: Universal Wire, Lip Load, or Fixed Wire. It also offers power options, with high wattage or low wattage models available based on specific needs. Reliability and durability are built into every C5 cabinet, with high-quality components ensuring a long life of worry-free use. The cabinet provides fast heat-up and recovery through a thermostatically controlled, forced convection system.
The Insulation Armour™ technology retains heat, saves energy, and keeps the exterior cool to touch. It is made of durable polymer construction that is dent, impact, and stain resistant. The cabinet doors are available in solid insulated aluminum or clear polycarbonate options. Clear doors provide visibility of the contents without losing heat.
The cabinet comes with three control modules: Holding, Moisture, and Combination Proof and Hold. All modules feature an easy-to-read digital thermometer, recessed control dials, a master on/off switch, and power indicator lights. The modules are removable without tools for easy cleaning and allow for future upgrades without replacing the entire cabinet body.
Optional accessories include a travel latch, 6" casters, small item shelf, stainless steel legs, rear rigid casters, factory left-hand hinging, flush door latch, stainless steel universal slides, and different plug options.
The cabinet is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) Insulation Armour™ and features a smooth polymer drip trough with a catch pan. It has high-temperature, door-mounted Santoprene gaskets and molded hand holds on all four corners. The latches are polymer high-strength magnetic pull latches with lever-action release
