Please note that a vent hood is not recommended above the dishwasher as it does not produce excessive vapors. It is important to check with the local building code to determine the required ventilation for commercial dish machine installations. Stainless steel or other moisture-resistant shields are recommended for surfaces adjacent to the dishwasher.
