The Built-In Heated Well is a rectangular, insulated, full-size pan with a bottom-mounted, remote thermostat and a separate power switch. It is constructed with stainless steel and has a high wattage of 1650 watts. It is cUL, UL, UL EPH Classified, and ANSI/NSF 4 certified.
The standard features of the Hatco insulated Built-In Heated Wells include a larger drain with a flat drain screen, more consistent holding temperatures, heavier stainless steel construction, easier-to-service design for quick component changes, and a remote thermostat with a separate power switch. It also has EZ locking hardware for quick installation.
The well can be mounted on the top or bottom and comes in low, standard, and high watt options. It is fully insulated on the sides and bottom for better heat retention and cooler surrounding surfaces. It also has options for accessory mounting kits for combustible countertops and adapters to convert full-size wells to hold round pans.
The well has a easy access design for quick changes of the element or thermostat. It has a separate lighted ON/OFF rocker switch and temperature dial for easy operation. It is available with or without a drain, with the drain being easy to clean with a larger drain and a flat screen.
Options available at the time of purchase include a mounting bracket for insulated bottom mount, an optional cord for top mount models and bottom mount with autofill models, and additional power supply lead wire. Control box options include standard thermostat with 6' capillary, WM control assembly replacement, ITC control with large control, and larger recessed thermostatic control.
The control box bezel is available in designer colors such as black, navy blue, warm red, gray granite, white granite, hunter green, and antique copper.
Accessories for the heated well include rectangular full-size stainless steel food pans in various heights, round food pans in different sizes, hinged lids and notched lids for round pans, stainless steel wire trivets in full-size and half-size, adapters to convert warmers to hold round pans, mounting kits for thick and combustible countertops, support bars in different lengths, and ball valves and gate valves for units with drains. There is also a heated well remote handle for ¾" drains that includes a ball valve.
