The Heated Black Glass Shelf is a portable shelf with a ceramic glass surface that provides uniform heat. It has a thermostatic control with a lighted on/off rocker switch, allowing you to adjust the temperature between 100° and 200°F. The shelf is cULus and UL EPH Classified, meeting safety and sanitation standards. This shelf is ideal for use on pass-through areas, buffet lines, and as hors d'oeuvre displays. It features a lighted on/off rocker switch for easy operation. The portable models come with a 6-foot cord and plug for convenience. The ceramic glass surface is thermostatically-controlled and heated, ensuring even heat distribution across the entire surface. The surface temperature ranges from 100° to 195°F, and an optional angled food stop is available to keep the product on the heat zone. The shelf is made of approved foodsafe material, allowing you to place food products directly on the glass surface. It also comes with an attractive trim mounting ring, available in stainless steel or Designer Black. There are also built-in models available, including units without a trim ring, built-in heated black glass shelves with a recessed top, and flush mount control boxes with lighted power switches. The built-in models are recommended for use in metallic counters, but the suitability of other surfaces should be verified. Please note that Hatco is not responsible for any counter damage caused by the heat from the warmer. Various options are available at the time of purchase, including different sizes of portable models, angled food stops, and non-standard colors for the trim ring.
