The cooking pan itself is 10" deep, 28-1/4" deep, and 35-3/4" wide, allowing for the preparation of large quantities of food at once. Its 3" radius corners make stirring food effortless and natural. The interior of the cooking pan is made of corrosion-resistant 304 stainless steel and is emery polished to 100 grit, preventing food from sticking and reducing cleaning time. The cooking surface features a sturdy 5/8" stainless steel plate that resists warping. Electric flat bar heating elements ensure even heat distribution without any hot or cold spots. The control panel of the Groen BPM-40EC Braising Pan is designed for simplicity. It includes a power switch with an indicator light, a heating indicator light, and a temperature control knob. The control panel is securely mounted to a stainless steel housing and has an IPX6 rating. The cooking temperature is thermostatically controlled, and the unit automatically adjusts the heat based on the temperature settings. The braising pan has a temperature range of 175 to 400°F. For safety, all Groen tilting braising pans come with a high limit thermostat.
