The Groen BPM-15EA Braising Pan is the smallest electrically heated floor model offered by the company. It is ideal for smaller restaurants as a primary large-batch cooking appliance or as an additional unit for larger establishments to prevent underutilization of their main unit. Despite its 15-gallon capacity, it has a compact footprint, measuring 30.47" across and 39-¾" front to rear.
 
 The cooking pan is 8" deep, 28-¼" long, and 18.10" wide. It is constructed with corrosion-resistant 304 stainless steel and includes graduations in both liters and gallons. The cooking surface ensures even heat distribution with its ?" thick plate clad in stainless steel and flat bar electric heating elements.
 
 The interior of the braising pan is emery polished to a 100 grit finish, preventing food from sticking and minimizing cleaning time. The seamless 3" radius corners make it easy to move items and maintain sanitation by preventing residue buildup.
 
 The Groen BPM-15EA features an advanced control panel that allows users to set the temperature and time. This ensures that food is not overcooked in a busy kitchen. The control panel is housed in an IPX6-rated stainless steel housing and includes an indicator lit on-off switch, a single knob for time and temperature settings, an LED readout for temperature or time, a heating indicator light, reset buttons for temperature presets, a manual mode button for temperature control, and a timer set button.
 
 For griddling, the Groen BPM-15EA can be operated at a 7-degree angle. It offers precise temperature control between 175 and 400°F and automatically shuts off when the preset high temperature is reached. It turns back on when it falls below the low temperature preset. Safety is ensured with a high limit thermostat.
 
 Tilting is controlled manually using a worm-and-gear mechanism with a hand crank. The hand crank provides precise control during pouring and reaches the full vertical position in 24 turns. The braising pan can be tilted beyond the vertical position for easy cleaning.
 
 The unit is equipped with a round tubular open leg stand, allowing easy access for cleaning underneath and around the unit. The adjustable bullet feet ensure stability on uneven flooring.
