Additionally, the single-piece construction of the pan body eliminates corners and seams where food particles or grime can accumulate, making cleaning even easier. The cooking surface is evenly heated thanks to its heavy-duty ¾" thick stainless steel clad plate and flat bar electric heating elements. The control panel of the Groen BPM-30EC Braising Pan is housed in a stainless steel enclosure and is IPX6-rated. The controls are simple and intuitive, with an LED power switch, heat indicator, and temperature control knob. Tilting the pan is effortless with the hand crank and worm-and-gear mechanism. The pan can tilt past vertical for easy cleaning. A faucet can be installed on the left, right, or right rear of the unit using the included bracket. Cooking in the Groen BPM-30EC Braising Pan is precise and consistent with its thermostatic control. The heating turns off when the desired temperature is reached and turns back on when it falls below. For safety, every Groen tilting braising pan is equipped with a high limit thermostat.
