Standard Features: Refrigeration System The refrigeration system comes pre-wired and ready to plug into a 115V/60Hz/1Ph outlet with a NEMA 5-15P plug. It features a time-initiated and temperature-terminated auto defrost heater for convenience. The condenser and evaporator coils are large capacity and corrosion-resistant. Pressure relief devices allow for smooth access to the cabinet interior when re-opening the doors. An airflow guard ensures optimal circulation of cold air, and R290 models include a full-length air duct system. The self-maintaining, energy-efficient condensate drain pan requires no external drains or electric heaters. PSC evaporator fan motors are used for R404A models, while electronically commutated (ECM) fan motors are used for R290 models. High-performance condenser fan motors ensure efficient compressor ventilation, and R290 models use auto-reverse condenser fan motors that also support condenser coil cleaning. The top-mounted, self-contained, and fully detachable condensing unit uses environmentally friendly R404A refrigerant with zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and EPA compliant R290 refrigerant with zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and three Global Warming Potential (GWP). R290 condensing units are replaceable and require no on-site brazing. Alternative refrigerant options are available upon request. Cabinet Construction The cabinet is constructed with galvanized steel on the top, bottom, and rear. It features 2.5" thick high-density polyurethane insulation for excellent temperature retention. Four 5" swivel casters with locks on the front set and two front leg stabilizers provide mobility and stability. The interior and exterior are made of heavy-duty stainless steel with rounded corners for a hazard-free workspace. Lighting The unit is equipped with energy-efficient silicone coated and shatter-proof LED lighting. This lighting provides bright, high color illumination with low heat output. Doors The doors are field reversible for flexibility. They have high-strength, recessed door handles and are made of heavy-duty stainless steel both on the interior and exterior. The doors also feature 2.5" thick high-density polyurethane insulation and frame heaters to prevent exterior moisture build-up. Pre-installed door locks keep your items safe from theft.
