The Beverage Air SPED48HC-08-4 Elite Series™ Sandwich Top Refrigerated Counter is a prep table that offers four refrigerated drawers and eight 1/6 pans for storing chilled ingredients. With 13.01 cu. ft. of refrigerated space in the convenient undercounter drawer sections, accessing additional items is quick and easy. Each drawer section can hold up to a 6" deep pan, allowing for more ingredient storage. The drawers are equipped with slides that have a locking mechanism to prevent accidental removal from the cabinet. Stainless steel frames support the telescoping drawer slides, ensuring effortless access to ingredients. The temperature inside the drawers is constantly maintained between 36º and 38ºF, maximizing the shelf life of stored food. The worktop features a cutting board that spans the full width of the unit, providing ample space for prep work. The cutting board can be easily removed for cleaning. The refrigerated pan storage area does not cover the entire width of the work area, leaving room for sauces and ingredients that do not require refrigeration. The included pans are made from durable and easy-to-clean white polyethylene plastic. The refrigerated pan storage does not take up much space on the worktop, allowing for plenty of room for additional items. The self-contained refrigeration system is located at the bottom of the prep counter and features an efficient ½ HP compressor with 1094 BTU/hr of cooling capacity. Cooling is provided by eco-friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant that meets all environmental regulations. The unit also has an automatic defrosting system that does not require electricity. This prep counter is designed to use standard 115v/60/1-ph power and comes with an eight-foot power cord with a NEMA 5-15P plug set.
