The worktop includes a cutting board that spans the entire width of the unit, offering ample space for prep work. The cutting board is easily removable for cleaning. The included pans are made of durable and easy-to-clean white polyethylene plastic. The pan storage area does not cover the full width of the counter, allowing for additional space for non-refrigerated ingredients or sauces. The reach-in refrigerator sections below the worktop each have two epoxy-coated wire shelves, maximizing usable space and simplifying organization. The interiors of these refrigerated sections are made of durable and corrosion-resistant aluminum, making them easy to clean. The self-closing doors ensure that a temperature between 36º and 38ºF is maintained efficiently. The doors can remain open at 120° for convenience. The doors also feature snap-in door gaskets that are easy to clean and maintain. The refrigeration system of this unit uses environmentally-friendly R290 refrigerant, which is hydrocarbon-based. It is equipped with an efficient ½ HP compressor that provides 1140 BTU/hr of cooling. The unit also has an automatic defrost system that is non-electric.
