The AccuTemp S34403D090 DBL Two Steam'N'Hold™ Boilerless Floor Model Steamer is a stand-mounted dual unit model that is heated electrically and wired for 440v/60/3-ph power at 12.0 amps. Each steamer has the capacity to hold 3 pans measuring 12" x 20" x 2-½".
Unlike convection steamers that circulate air and steam, the Steam'N'Hold™ steamers from AccuTemp remove air from the cavity. This allows for direct contact between the steam and the food, resulting in efficient heat transfer. Additionally, the use of vacuum technology enables the steamer to cook food at lower temperatures.
These Electric Convection Steamers come with a 1-year warranty and a lifetime support and service guarantee, regardless of the water quality used. They do not require plumbing and instead have 3-gallon reservoirs that can be manually filled.
Each Commercial Floor Model Steamer is equipped with a 90-minute timer, a heavy-duty door, a power on switch, a 3-gallon water reservoir, a right-hand hinged door, and a front-mounted drain valve. These units also feature a super duty heater configuration, vacuum and temperature gauges, heat, cook, and hold indicator lights, and a low water protection system with a light and buzzer.
The steamers do not require a hood in most areas and have a quick release door that can be opened while cooking. They offer various cooking modes such as fast cook, low temp, steam, and hold, and have a thermostat mode selector switch. The timer allows for continuous cook and hold mode settings.
Optional features for the steamers include a drain kit, marine package, military package, 180-minute timer, left-hinged door, perforated cooking shelf, one-year extended warranty, 4" full-size drain pan, steamer door crack open feature, double stacking stand conversion kit, corrections package for tamper resistance, and a chain package for factory preset hold temperature.
The steamer cavity is made of durable reinforced 14 ga. 304 stainless steel. Each unit comes with two 5' power cords and plugs, and a separate receptacle is needed for each unit. A stainless steel support stand is also available with casters, bullet, or flange feet.
