The Universal Ventless Hood is a countertop exhaust hood with a 4-stage filtration system. It features an interlock system, airflow sensors, and (2) LED lights. The hood is self-contained and made of stainless steel construction. It has a 1/4 HP motor and is cETLus certified. Please note that this item is non-returnable. For replacement filters, this model requires (1) Pre-filter (302579) and (1) HEPA Charcoal Filter Pack (WL0422). Standard features of the hood include availability in 208/240V, 1-phase, a quiet operation with an average of 60 dBA, and a limited two-year parts and one-year labor warranty. The hood is completely self-contained with a 4-stage filtration system and an illuminated early-warning system to monitor filter replacement. It is pre-plumbed for an externally mounted ANSUL system and has stainless steel construction for strength, durability, and easy cleaning. The hood is designed to be placed on a countertop, equipment stand, or refrigerated chef base and has knock-out holes for equipment electrical connections. It is shipped with an angled discharge grill and can be field convertible for directional change. The airflow sensors continually monitor airflow for optimal performance and grease removal. The hood also has an interlock system that will disable cooking appliances if filters are missing, clogged, or in the event of a fire. The self-contained filtration process reduces emissions below the standards set by NFPA 96 and ANSI UL710B using the EPA 202 test method. Optional accessories for the hood include a pre-filter, HEPA/carbon-charcoal filter pack, and a round exhaust duct adapter for remote exhaust flue.
