Commercial Chef Bases are equipped with a range of standard features to meet the needs of professional kitchens. These features include a condenser filter, marine edge top, and a compressor on the left side. The bases also have off-cycle evaporator defrost, 4" casters in adjustable channels, and magnetic snap-in drawer gaskets. The drawer slides are made of 14-gauge stainless steel, and there is an automatic non-electric condensate filter. The bases come with a one-year limited parts and labor warranty.

The construction of the chef bases is durable and reliable, with stainless steel top, front, sides, and interior. The drawers are self-closing and have a stay-open feature. The bases are equipped with the INTELA-TRAUL microprocessor control system, which allows for easy temperature control. They also have a NEMA 5-15 plug with a 9' cord and cord retainer.

Additional options are available for customization, such as having the compressor on the right side, 6" stainless steel legs, or export 220/50/1 voltage. There is also an option for a 6" cabinet length extension or a NAFEM data protocol gateway package.

The exterior is made of 20-gauge 430 stainless steel, while the interior sides are made of 22-gauge 400 series stainless steel. The cabinet and drawers are insulated with 2" thick high-density, non-CFC, foamed-in-place polyurethane. The bases come with a water-resistant INTELA-TRAUL microprocessor control system and are NAFEM Data Protocol communication ready.
