The Spec-Line Undercounter Commercial Blast Chiller with EPICON Control is a high-quality commercial refrigerator designed for rapid chilling of food products. It features a left-hinged door and can chill up to 100 lbs of food from 135°F to 40°F in just 95 minutes. The chiller has five levels that can hold either five 18" x 26" pans or ten 12" x 20" x 2-1/2" pans. The interior and exterior of the chiller are made of stainless steel for durability and easy cleaning.
The chiller comes with several standard features including an on-board cycle data printer, Epicon touch screen control, stainless steel worktop, and a three-year parts and labor warranty. The self-closing door has a stay-open feature and magnetic snap-in EZ-clean door gaskets. The chiller also has adjustable stainless steel legs and a rehingeable stainless steel door with a cylinder lock. It has a USB port for downloading cycle data and software updates, and an automatic maintenance mode after each chill or freeze cycle.
The exclusive Epicon control allows for easy operation with options for hands-free cycle start or manual operation. The control has adjustable target temperatures and times, and four chilling settings including speed, energy, standard, and delicate.
There are also several options and accessories available for the chiller including a stainless steel finished back, right or left hand door hinging, locking casters, and an on-board label printer. The TBC13 model can accommodate thirteen 18" x 26" sheet pans or twenty-six 12" x 20" food pans, while the TBC5 model can accommodate five 18" x 26" sheet pans or ten 12" x 20" x 2-1/2" deep food pans. There are also options for remote applications, a correctional facility package, and high capacity condensate evaporators.
The chiller is constructed with stainless steel exterior sides, front, door, and top, and a galvanized steel exterior back and bottom. The door is equipped with a cylinder lock and guaranteed-for-life cam-lift hinges. The cabinet and door are insulated with high-density, non-CFC foamed-in-place polyurethane.
The refrigeration system uses R-404A refrigerant and features a thermostatic expansion valve metering device, high-humidity evaporator coil, high-speed evaporator fan, air-cooled hermetic compressor
