The Spec-Line Undercounter Commercial Blast Chiller with EPICON Control is a high-quality commercial refrigerator designed for rapid chilling of hot food products. It features a left-hinged door and can chill up to 100 lbs of food from 135°F to 40°F in just 95 minutes. The chiller has five levels that can hold either five 18" x 26" pans or ten 12" x 20" x 2-1/2" pans. It has a stainless steel interior and exterior, including the sides, front, and bullnose top. The chiller is self-contained and comes with 6" casters for easy mobility. It is cULus and NSF certified.
The chiller comes with several standard features, including an on-board cycle data printer, an Epicon touch screen control, a stainless steel worktop, and a three-year parts and labor warranty. It also has a self-closing and stay-open door feature, magnetic snap-in EZ-clean door gaskets, and a set of four 6" high adjustable stainless steel legs. The chiller has a rehingeable stainless steel door with a cylinder lock and a guaranteed-for-life metal door handle and cam-lift hinges. It also has a USB port for downloading cycle data and software updates, as well as an automatic maintenance mode after each chill/freeze cycle.
The chiller's exclusive Epicon control offers advanced features such as displaying temperature in either °F or °C, a 90-day cycle data memory, adjustable target temperatures and times, and advanced data management and defrost capabilities. It can be operated in two easy ways: AUTO mode for hands-free cycle start and MANUAL mode for chilling by time, temperature, or recipe. The control also offers four chilling settings: SPEED to reduce chill time by 10%, ENERGY to save approximately 10% energy, STANDARD for basic chill operation, and DELICATE for refreshing ready-to-eat foods.
The chiller offers various options and accessories, including a stainless steel finished back, right or left-hand door hinging, and sets of locking casters. It also offers an on-board label printer for adhesive labels for product containers. The chiller is available in two models: TBC5, which accommodates five 18" x 26" sheet pans or ten 12" x 20" x 2-1/2" deep food pans, and TBC13.
