The Spec-Line Roll-In Commercial Blast Chiller with EPICON Control is a high-quality commercial refrigerator designed to chill large quantities of food quickly and efficiently. It features a self-contained holding refrigeration system and can hold two 72" high racks. The front door is hinged on the right side and it is cULus and NSF certified.

There are various options and accessories available for this blast chiller including right or left-hand door hinging, a correctional facility package, a stainless steel finished back, a roll-in rack that holds 26 12" x 20" pans, a floor-mounted condensate evaporator, an on-board label printer, a water-cooled self-contained condenser suitable for connection to glycol, and a combi oven compatibility collar.
The refrigeration system of this blast chiller consists of dual high-capacity systems using R-404A refrigerant. It has an advanced air circulation system, a self-contained maintenance system, a thermostatic expansion valve metering device, a large high-humidity evaporator coil, a high-speed evaporator fan, an air-cooled hermetic compressor, and a hot gas defrost. Each model requires a separate 4 HP remote condensing unit for blast chill operation.
The interior arrangements of this blast chiller can accommodate one or two 72" high roll-in racks, depending on the model. The racks are not included but can be purchased separately.
In blast chill mode, the air circulating in the food zone cycles between 10-14°F to rapidly chill hot product without freezing. Target temperatures can be adjusted between 40 and -5°F.
