The Spec-Line Roll-In Commercial Blast Chiller with EPICON Control is a high-quality commercial refrigerator designed to chill and hold large quantities of food. It features a self-contained holding refrigeration system and can accommodate one 72" high rack. The chiller is hinged on the left and comes with Corrections Features. It is cULus and NSF certified.
The chiller comes with several standard features including an on-board cycle data printer, Epicon touch screen control, three-year parts and labor warranty, self-closing and stay-open door feature, stainless steel door with cylinder lock, magnetic snap-in EZ-clean door gaskets, and stainless steel exterior and interior construction. It also includes a two-year additional compressor parts warranty.
The Exclusive Epicon Control offers advanced data management and defrost capabilities. It allows for easy operation with adjustable target temperatures and times. The control has four chilling settings including speed, energy, standard, and delicate.
The chiller offers various options and accessories such as right or left-hand door hinging, a correctional facility package, stainless steel finished back, roll-in rack for holding pans, floor-mounted condensate evaporator, on-board label printer, water-cooled self-contained condenser, and a combi oven compatibility collar.
The refrigeration system of the chiller includes dual high-capacity systems using R-404A refrigerant. It features an advanced air circulation system, thermostatic expansion valve metering device, large evaporator coil, high-speed evaporator fan, air-cooled hermetic compressor, and hot gas defrost. Each model requires a separate remote condensing unit for blast chill operation.
The interior arrangements of the chiller can accommodate one or two 72" high roll-in racks. The racks are not included but can be purchased separately.
The blast chill operation of the chiller promotes rapid product chilling without freezing. It allows for adjustable target temperatures between 40 and -5°F. The chiller measures and records core product temperatures using food probes. It notifies the operator with an audible alarm and switches to maintenance mode after each cycle.
The chiller is equipped with an easy-to-use touch-screen Epicon control. It is water-resistant and protected by a stainless steel bezel. The control monitors cycle operation, records data for HACCP compliance, and can be printed or retrieved from memory.
The chiller comes with a three-year parts and labor warranty on all components and the cabinet, and an additional two-year parts warranty on the compressor.
