The Spec-Line Reach-In Commercial Blast Chiller with EPICON Control is a high-quality commercial refrigerator designed for rapid chilling of food products. It features a stainless steel interior and exterior construction, with a hinged right door and 6" legs with correctional features. The chiller can hold either 13 18"x26" pans or 26 12"x20"x2" pans, and has a chilling capacity of 75# - 150# (to be determined).
The chiller comes with a range of standard features, including an on-board cycle data printer, Epicon touch screen control, stainless steel worktop, and a three-year parts and labor warranty. It also has self-closing and stay-open door features, magnetic snap-in EZ-clean door gaskets, and a set of four 6" high adjustable stainless steel legs.
The exclusive Epicon control allows for easy operation and advanced data management. It has adjustable target temperatures and times, and offers four chilling settings: speed, energy, standard, and delicate. The control also has a USB port for downloading cycle data and software updates, and an automatic maintenance mode after each chill/freeze cycle.
The chiller is available in two models: TBC5 and TBC13. The TBC5 can accommodate five 18"x26" sheet pans or ten 12"x20"x2-1/2" deep food pans, while the TBC13 can accommodate thirteen 18"x26" sheet pans or twenty-six 12"x20" food pans. Both models come with three removable food probes and three food timers for easy multibatching.
There are also various options and accessories available for the chiller, such as a stainless steel finished back, right or left hand door hinging, locking casters, and an on-board label printer. The TBC13 model has additional options, including remote applications, a correctional facility package, and high-capacity condensate evaporators.
The chiller is built with high-quality hardware, insulation, and construction. The exterior and interior are made of stainless steel, while the door is equipped with a cylinder lock and guaranteed-for-life cam-lift hinges. The cabinet and door are insulated with high-density, non-CFC foamed-in-place polyurethane.
