The Nor-Lake KODF68-C Kold Locker is a reliable outdoor walk-in freezer that can withstand various weather conditions. With a spacious 231 cu. ft. interior, this freezer provides ample refrigerated storage options. The Kold Locker is constructed with 4" thick panels made of 26 gauge steel with a stucco embossed, corrosion-resistant coating. The panels are insulated with EPA-compliant foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation. Each panel has male and female rails for easy installation and proper alignment. Foamed-in-place cam locking fasteners ensure an airtight seal between panels. The continuous panel gasket around the outer perimeter is free from breaks or cuts at the corners. The ceiling and floor panels have foamed-in-place edge caps for secure installation. The stock door included with this walk-in unit is 26" wide and features a stepped profile design to prevent airflow. It comes with two cam-lift hinges that can be installed on either side and are adjustable for a proper seal. A spring-assisted door closer keeps the door from being left open. The door is pre-hung in a 4' wide panel and includes a replaceable perimeter heating wire, magnetic stainless steel trim, a digital thermometer, a vapor-proof LED lighting fixture, and a switch with an exterior indicator light. It can be secured with an NL 9800 deadbolt locking handle with an independent key/padlock feature. A safety release is included to prevent workers from being locked inside. The Kold Locker maintains a temperature of -10°F with its top-mounted RCPF100JC-E-4-EV Capsule Pak Refrigeration System, which produces 3220 BTU/hr of cooling. The refrigeration system is controlled by the Enviro-Control electronic control system, which sets the temperature and defrost timer. The roof is protected from the weather with a 35 mill white membrane roof material that requires no seaming or gluing. Metal trim flashing holds the weatherproof membrane in place with self-drilling, self-tapping TEK screws. The Kold Locker comes with standard features such as DOE compliance, USDA acceptance, a magnetic gasket, a 15-year panel warranty, and options for cooler or freezer models.
