Kold Locker offers a range of walk-in freezers with top-mounted compressors. These freezers come with a variety of standard features, including DOE compliance, USDA acceptance, a magnetic gasket, and a 15-year panel warranty. They are available in cooler or freezer models, and can be used indoors or outdoors. The doors are 26" wide and self-closing, with a perimeter door heater wire and a floor double sweep gasket. Other features include a digital thermometer and light switch, adjustable cam-lift hinges, and a deadbolt locking handle with independent key/padlock feature and inside safety release. The freezers come in sizes ranging from 4' x 6' to 10' x 14', with two temperature options: +35°F and -10°F. They also come with an 18-month parts and labor warranty. The interior floor is smooth aluminum, and floorless models are supplied with NSF listed vinyl sealers. The freezers are listed by Oregon State, City of Houston, and California State. They have an automatic condensate vaporizer, eliminating the need for a drain line on indoor units. The refrigeration system is a Capsule Pak™, which can be ceiling or wall-mounted (ordered separately). The panels are 4" thick and foamed-in-place with EPA-compliant polyurethane insulation. The exterior surfaces are made of 26-gauge corrosion-resistant stucco embossed coated steel, while the interior floor is smooth aluminum. The foam cores have NSF and UL flame spread 25 or less, and the door sections have UL and CSA electrical listing. The complete Capsule Pak™ refrigeration systems are UL and C-UL listed. The freezers also come with a high-output low-profile LED light positioned above the door to prevent interference with shelving or product.
There are also optional features available, such as an exterior ramp, electric vaporizer, floor tread plate kit, U-shaped shelving system, and door hood for outdoor models. Other options include a five-year compressor warranty, condensing unit air deflector kit, heights of 8'7" with floor and 8'4" without floor, leak detector/alarm (may be required in some areas), and a heater kit for outdoor use in temperatures below 32°F.
