This unit offers a spacious 473 cu. ft. of refrigerated space. The panels of this commercial walk-in freezer are 4" thick and feature foamed-in-place insulation sandwiched between 26 gauge steel with a corrosion-resistant embossed stucco coating. This provides an impressive R-value of 32. Assembling the Kold Locker walk-in unit is easy, thanks to the male and female mating rails on each panel that ensure proper alignment. The foamed-in-place cam locking fasteners securely lock the panels together, creating an airtight seal. The corners of the unit feature continuous panel gaskets that provide a seamless exterior perimeter. The ceiling and floor panels are equipped with foamed-in-place edge caps that keep them securely in place throughout the life of the unit. The standard door that comes with this walk-in freezer is 26" wide and features a stepped profile to prevent airflow and increase energy efficiency. For businesses that frequently move large loads on hand dollies, a free upgrade to a 30" door kit is available. This wider door makes it easier to transport wider loads, and it includes a stainless steel kick plate for protection against dolly bumps. The door hinges can be installed on either the right or left side and feature field-adjustable cam-lifts with a locking set screw.
