The KLB68-C Kold Locker from NorLake is the ideal solution for businesses that need efficient storage and handling of refrigerated goods in bulk. With 231 cu. ft. of refrigerated space, there is more than enough room to safely store items in bulk. The wall panels of this walk-in cooler are 4" thick and made of foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation encased in 26 gauge steel with an embossed stucco coating for corrosion resistance. These panels provide an R-value of 25 and are easy to install with male and female rails for proper alignment. Foamed-in-place cam locking fasteners ensure an air-tight seal between each panel, and a continuous panel gasket wraps around the outer perimeter without breaks or cuts at the corners. The ceiling and floor panels have foamed-in-place edge caps to keep them in place throughout the life of the unit. The door of the Kold Locker has a stepped profile to prevent airflow and efficiently keep the heat out. The standard door is 26 inches wide, providing easy access to the interior. The door can be installed with its two cam-lift hinges on either the right or left, and these hinges are field-adjustable for smooth operation and a secure seal. A spring-assisted door closer ensures the door is never left ajar. The door also features a magnetic stainless steel trim, digital thermometer, replaceable perimeter heating wire, and a vapor-proof LED light fixture with a switch and external indicator light. The NL 9800 deadbolt handle with an independent key/padlock feature keeps everything inside the walk-in secure, and a safety release inside the door panel prevents anyone from getting locked inside. The interior temperature of the Kold Locker is efficiently maintained between 35°F and 38°F by the RCPB050JC-S-0-EV Capsule Pak Refrigeration System in the ceiling. This system produces 4060 BTU/hr of heat rejection and comes with the Enviro-Control electronic control system for temperature adjustment and automatic defrosting. An automatic condensate vaporizer is included, eliminating the need for a drain line.
