The C5™ 3 Series Heated Holding Cabinet is a mobile, full-height cabinet with a clear polycarbonate door. It has a removable bottom mount control module and a thermostat that can reach temperatures up to 200°F. The cabinet can hold up to 35 pans measuring 18" x 26" and has lip load slides on 1-1/2" centers. It is equipped with 5" casters, two of which have brakes. The cabinet is made of aluminum and operates on 120v/60/1-ph with 1440 watts and 12 amps. It is UL, CUL, and NSF certified.
The cabinet comes with several standard features, including three slide styles for maximum holding capacity, the option to choose between high or low wattage models, and reliability and durability built into every C5. It also has a fast heat-up and recovery system and is available in different colors.
The cabinet is insulated with Red Insulation Armour™, a patented insulation technology that retains heat, saves energy, and provides a cool-to-touch exterior. The doors are available in solid insulated aluminum or clear polycarbonate options, with full-length or dutch-style configurations for full-height cabinets. The control module options include Holding, Moisture, and Combination Proof and Hold, all featuring an easy-to-read digital thermometer, recessed control dials, a master on/off switch, and power indicator lights. The modules are removable without tools for easy cleaning and allow for future upgrades without replacing the entire cabinet body.
There are also several options and accessories available for the cabinet, such as a travel latch, 6" casters, small item shelf, stainless steel legs, rear rigid casters, factory left-hand hinging, flush door latch, stainless steel universal slides, and different plug options.
The cabinet is made of High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Insulation Armour™ and features a smooth polymer drip trough with a catch pan, high temperature Santoprene gaskets, molded hand holds on all four corners, polymer high-strength magnetic pull latch with lever-action release, field reversible double hinged doors with long-life nylon bearings, and either clear polycarbonate doors with an aluminum frame or fully insulated solid doors with fiberglass and aluminum panels. The casters have 5" donut neoprene wheels with double ball bearing swivels and nickel-plated ball bearing axels, with two casters equipped with brakes.
