The C5™ 3 Series Heated Holding Cabinet is a mobile, full-height insulated cabinet with Dutch clear polycarbonate doors. It has a lower wattage option and features Grey Insulation Armour™ for heat retention and energy savings. The cabinet has a removable bottom mount control module with a thermostat that can reach temperatures up to 200°F. It comes with fixed wire slides on 3" centers, providing a capacity for either 18" x 26" pans or 12" x 20" x 2-1/2" pans. The cabinet is equipped with 5" casters, two of which have brakes. It is made of aluminum and operates on 120v/60/1-ph with 1440 watts and 12 amps. The C5™ 3 Series Heated Holding Cabinet is UL, CUL, and NSF certified.
Some standard features of the cabinet include three slide styles for maximum holding capacity, the option to choose between high or low wattage models, reliability and durability with high-quality components, and fast heat-up and recovery through a thermostatically controlled, forced convection system. The cabinet is available in Red, Blue, or Gray Insulation Armour™, and the insulation technology provides a cool-to-touch exterior. The doors can be solid insulated aluminum or clear polycarbonate, with full-length or dutch-style options. The control module options include Holding, Moisture, and Combination Proof and Hold, all featuring an easy-to-read digital thermometer, recessed control dials, a master on/off switch, and power indicator lights. The modules are removable without tools for easy cleaning and allow for future upgrades without replacing the entire cabinet body.
Some optional accessories for the cabinet include a travel latch, 6" casters, a small item shelf, stainless steel legs, rear rigid casters, factory left-hand hinging, a flush door latch, stainless steel universal slides, and different plug options. The cabinet is made of High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) for insulation Armour™, has a smooth polymer drip trough with a catch pan, high-temperature Santoprene gaskets, molded hand holds on all four corners, polymer high-strength magnetic pull latches with lever-action release, field reversible double hinged doors with long-life nylon bearings, and clear doors with an extruded aluminum frame and polycarbonate window or solid doors with fiberglass insulation and aluminum panels. The casters are nickel plated with neoprene wheels
