The C5™ 3 Series Heated Holding & Proofing Cabinet is a mobile, full-height cabinet with red Insulation Armour™. It has a clear polycarbonate door and a removable bottom mount control module. The thermostat can be set to a maximum temperature of 200°F. The cabinet can hold up to 35 pans measuring 18" x 26" and has lip load slides on 1-1/2" centers. It is equipped with 5" casters, two of which have brakes. The cabinet is made of aluminum and operates on 120v/60/1-ph with 2000 watts and 16.7 amps. It is cULus and NSF certified.
The cabinet has three slide styles to maximize holding capacity: Universal Wire, Lip Load, or Fixed Wire. It also offers the option of high wattage or low wattage models depending on specific needs. The C5™ 3 Series is designed for reliability and durability, with high-quality components for long-lasting use. It provides fast heat-up and recovery through a thermostatically controlled, forced convection system.
The Insulation Armour™ technology retains heat, saves energy, and keeps the exterior cool to touch. It is available in red, blue, or gray, with other colors available upon request. The cabinet can be equipped with solid insulated aluminum or clear polycarbonate doors. Full-height cabinets can have full-length or dutch-style doors. Clear doors provide visibility without losing heat.
The control module options include Holding, Moisture, and Combination Proof and Hold. All modules have an easy-to-read digital thermometer, recessed control dials, a master on/off switch, and power indicator lights. They are removable without tools for easy cleaning and allow for future upgrades without replacing the entire cabinet body.
Optional accessories include a travel latch, 6" casters, small item shelf, stainless steel legs, rear rigid casters, factory left-hand hinging, flush door latch, stainless steel universal slides, and different plug options.
The cabinet is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) Insulation Armour™. It has a smooth polymer drip trough with a catch pan, high-temperature Santoprene gaskets, molded hand holds on all four corners, polymer high-strength magnetic pull latch with lever-action release, and field-reversible double hinged doors with long-life nylon bearings.
