The C5™ 3 Series Heated Holding & Proofing Cabinet is a mobile, 3/4 height cabinet with a removable bottom mount control module. It has a thermostat that can reach temperatures up to 200°F and can hold up to 27 18" x 26" pans on lip load slides. The cabinet is insulated with Red Insulation Armour™, which retains heat, saves energy, and has a cool-to-touch exterior. It is made of durable aluminum and has 5" casters, two of which have brakes. The cabinet operates on 120v/60/1-ph and has a power output of 1440 watts and 12 amps. It is cULus and NSF certified.
The cabinet comes with three slide styles for maximum holding capacity: Universal Wire, Lip Load, or Fixed Wire. It also offers the option of high wattage or low wattage models depending on specific needs. The C5™ 3 Series is designed for reliability and durability, with high-quality components that provide a long life of worry-free use. It features a thermostatically controlled, forced convection system for fast heat-up and recovery.
The cabinet is available in Red, Blue, or Gray standard colors, with other colors available upon request. It comes with the option of solid insulated aluminum or clear polycarbonate doors. The doors can be configured as full length or dutch-style, and the clear doors provide visibility of the contents without losing heat. The control module options include Holding, Moisture, and Combination Proof and Hold. All modules have an easy-to-read digital thermometer, recessed control dials, a master on/off switch, and power indicator lights. They are removable without tools for easy cleaning and allow for future upgrades without replacing the entire cabinet body.
Optional accessories for the C5™ 3 Series include a travel latch, 6" casters, small item shelf, stainless steel legs, rear rigid casters, factory left-hand hinging, flush door latch, stainless steel universal slides, and different plug options. The cabinet is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) insulation armour, with a smooth polymer drip trough and catch pan. It has high-temperature, door-mounted Santoprene gaskets, molded hand holds on all four corners, and a polymer high-strength magnetic pull latch with a lever-action release. The hinges are field reversible, double hinged, with a 180° swing and long-life nylon bearings.
