The Kolpak KFX8-088-CR Kold-Front Walk-In Cooler is a floorless unit that can be used both indoors and outdoors. It is equipped with advanced cooling technologies to ensure a consistent and cool temperature inside. The cooler features a 3/4 horsepower condenser and a 2.5" dial thermometer, allowing you to maintain a perfect temperature of 35 degrees Fahrenheit for your stored items. This durable unit has a 26 ga. embossed galvalume interior and exterior, with a standard 34" X 78" door. It stands at 102 inches tall, 93 inches wide, and 93 inches deep. The cooler comes with the ArcticFox Temperature & Air Defrost Control, which combines the functions of a thermostat and defrost timeclock. It is designed for medium temperature applications of 35°F and higher. The control includes a built-in defrost clock for time-initiated and time-terminated defrost cycles. It also has a single-pole-double-throw relay for controlling refrigeration and defrost cycles. The ArcticFox Temperature Control is easy to use and eliminates user frustration. It includes a battery-powered clock for proper operation after power is restored. The control features a thermostat, manual defrost option, and visual alarms for high temperature, low temperature, and sensor issues. It also has compressor protection with a maximum starts per hour setting. The cooler is equipped with a service call saver feature, which alerts the user when the unit is coming out of a defrost cycle. This helps prevent unnecessary service calls. The hardware of the control includes Modbus terminals, a 4-button user interface, a 3-digit 7-segment display, and a relay for solenoid/compressor. The space temperature sensor is supplied with a 45-inch lead and is used to control the temperature of the room. The ArcticFox Temperature & Air Defrost Control and the ArcticFox Temperature Control both include RS-485 Modbus communication for easy integration. In case of any alarms, the control illuminates the amber LED and displays the appropriate alarm code. These codes include Open Sensor Alarm, Shorted Sensor Alarm, Low Temperature Alarm, and High Temperature Alarm.
